Copper / Iron goal

Copper goal & Iron goal - Nobody should even think about it !

Football is scientific and being scientific it is illogical that a match is ended without a proper result. A nil result is of course an improper result. A winner should come out in any (scientific) play !

The introduction of the Golden Goal and the Silver Goal had soon to be ruled out because it did not give satisfaction to both of the playing teams, being either a winner or looser. I wonder how such thing could have been introduced in the football as a rule. This reminds me when I was in my early teens, while I was playing football and the score was such that there was no winner, we used to apply the silver or more often the golden goal. By any means we wanted to decide for a winner. This of course being done in a very childish and unreasoning way. When they came as a rule in football, I was not only shocked but amazed to see what wrong direction we were moving on. Thanks they were ruled out and I just wish that NOBODY come forward with or even think of either the Copper Goal or the Iron Goal. We can well imagine in what wrong direction we shall be pushed in with a copper or iron goal in this era of Iron Age.

I have already worked out the system for a winner at each match played after several years of research and the only thing need to be done now is to have it registered as a copyright work and follow the best course of action for its application.

I am sure the football world shall welcome it.

It is out of the box of the " 4 metals-goals ". - [ Golden, Silver, Copper & Iron ]

I once met the ex Ambassador of USA, Mr.Jesseramsingh at his residence in Rose-Hill and during our meeting he gave me the above printed paper and mentioned that he was a good friend of Henry Kissinger who was also close to FIFA.                                                                                                                                                                          Henry Kissinger proposed to FIFA a winner at each football match played but his proposal was not retained. Surely his proposal was just an idea without scientific research.                                                                                              We know very well that Golden Goal, Silver Goal and Penalty Kicks are NOT the ideal solution to determine the winner.  That why I advise that nobody should even think of Copper or Iron Goal because they are baseless without scientific research.                                                                                                                                                              It requires indeed scientific research and should not create other problem to decide a winner at each football match.

WHEREAS I HAVE THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO DETERMINE A WINNER AT EACH FOOTBALL MATCH PLAYED WITHOUT CAUSING ANY INJUSTICE TO ANY TEAM. A FAIR JUSTICE TO THE GAME INDEED !

This is the triangular system I have devised though can improve largely the present system but still has some inefficiency and corrected by TPS & TPS2. Below is case of infringement of my copyright work.

More about Extra Assistant Referees or EARs

This is yet another follow up to UEFA’s experiment with additional assistant referees, which this blog prefers to call extra assistant referees … mostly because the acronym EAR can be used in the half-humorous semi-serious phrase:

“Are EARs the extra eyes needed in football?”

To illustrate the ineffectiveness of EARs, two controversial penalty incidents occurred during the Marseille and Chelsea Champions League final group match on Wednesday 8 December 2010. The match ended 1—0.

Both penalty incidents—in the 16th and 43rd minutes—occurred inside the penalty area and questions are asked of the Russian match officials. In particular the referee, Vladislav Bezborodov, was officiating his first Champions League match, so his courage, confidence and conviction come into focus, as well as the interaction with his team of match officials.

Note: Apologies for the long string of freeze frames in this post. Please skip to the end of this post for the summary.

Ultimately, the issue of whether EARs are effective comes to the fore … yet again. Here are the two penalty incidents that were not given to Chelsea.

PENALTY ONE

In the 16th minute, Florent Malouda of Chelsea (green) heads towards the goal line and Souleymane Diawara of Marseille (black) trips him. The referee is right up with play and initially awards a penalty. [Note: this decision appears to be correct because the path of the ball does not change, suggesting that Diawara did not get the ball … and instead got the man]. However, the AR uses the intercom and indicates that Diawara did make contact with the ball and therefore says it is a corner kick. Questions to ask here are: Did the AR have the better angle of view than the R? Was the AR 100% sure that there was contact with the ball? What was the R's pre-match brief to his AR regarding fouls in the penalty area?

This turn of events gives a poor impression on the match officials, and in particular cuts down the credibility and authority of the match referee.
