THE SMART BALL
This is the smart ball which has been developed by Adidas after many years of research and test but its use has been recently and rightly disapproved by FIFA. Just consider the God’s hand-goal of Diego Maradona (1986). The smart ball and the reading on the watch would tell the referee that it was a GOAL but the truth is that it was a non-valid goal. Moreover how can the smart ball solves the numerous refereeing errors mentioned on page – Serious Errors - [Click Here]. It will of course FAIL !!!
Therefore how can we rely on such a technology for football match control. We must not forget that what is good for tennis is not necessarily good for football. It is two different games and each has its own specific rules.
FIFA has also rightly ruled out the idea of having 2 referees on the playfield. How could there be 2 captains on a ship ! If we ever try to control a ship by appointing 2 captains we definitely run the risk of drowning the ship. This is against the law of nature !!

Another right decision of the International Federation was the rejection of installing several cameras on the goal-post. Simple analysis of refereeing errors as mentioned on the page 'seriuos errors' would definitely conclude that cameras would be of very little help or no help at all.
Another attempt was about having 4 linesmen according to this article :

FIFA to explore new refereeing system - May 11th, 2007
4 LINESMEN SYSTEM
Geneva: World football’s governing body is exploring controversial changes to the game including a new refereeing system and possible changes to points scoring, FIFA president Sepp Blatter said yesterday. A refereeing system involving four linesmen will be tested during either European or World youth tournaments this summer, FIFA confirmed. “It’s a first agreement with Michel Platini. We said that we need to help the referee, he must be given more assistants,” Blatter said.

FIFA have taken swift action to calm the troubled waters of world football after the Thierry Henry scandal, announcing that from next year, all top-level matches will be refereed by a taskforce of twenty-eight officials. The system, secretly trialled at the last World Cup (see picture above), could be in place as early as January 2010, if two million new referees can be trained in time.
The authorities have been widely expected to approve calls for two new officials - one on each goalline - after successfully experimenting with such a system during this season's otherwise pointless Europa League. However, speaking from one of his palaces, FIFA President Sepp Blatter revealed that the changes would be more sweeping than anyone had anticipated. 'As well as the referees, assistants, 4th official and guys on the goallines,' Blatter told journalists, 'each player will be followed around by his own referee. Each of these referees will sit down with his personal player at various points during the match to take an audit of any shots, passes and tackles they have made. The 22 referees will then report back to the main match officials, who will collate the final score within a week of the end of the game.'
'With this simple system,' Blatter concluded, 'we hope to eradicate debates such as the one that followed France's match with Ireland, when Thierry Henry allegedly used his hand several times to control the ball, although it was very difficult to tell for certain.'
Blatter confirmed that FIFA were discussing further measures to address potential controversies. These are thought to include placing a CCTV camera inside the ball which feeds pictures back to a taskforce of MI5 and Interpol operatives; issuing each player with a PIN which he has to input into a card reader before taking a shot at goal; placing customs officials at the edge of each penalty area to ascertain the reason for players' visits; and chopping off Thierry Henry's hands.
However, Blatter said that FIFA were still reluctant to introduce video referees to check action replays of disputed goals: 'we do not feel there is any need for action as drastic as that'. Blatter added: 'Offside! Offside! Fuck's sake!... no, to be fair, he was just about level. I'm always getting those wrong.'

For nearly a quarter of a century - 1986 (Maradona) to 2009 (Henry) what has been done to remedy the situation ? Obviously nothing ! The problem needs a scientific diagnosis which I have done. My prescription will cure the disease without fail !!!
TPS Refereeing through the goal lineman would instantly detected the hand ball and disallowed the goal.
France v Ireland - Henry handgoal awarded by the referee.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA play-off's
second leg match between France
and the Republic
of Ireland was played on November 18, 2009
in Stade de France, Paris.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw after extra time and France won 2-1 on aggregate,
ensuring France's qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup
finals in South Africa at the
expense of the Republic of Ireland. William Gallas had scored a controversial
equalizer in the 103rd minute, and after the game the French captain Thierry Henry admitted he had illegally handled
the ball in the move leading up to the decisive goal, leading to calls from the
Football
Association of Ireland (FAI) and the Government of Ireland
to the world governing body FIFA for the result to be
set-aside and for the game to be replayed. The incident has been compared to Maradona's infamous "Hand of God" goal.
The Irish press were unanimous in their condemnation.
"We were robbed" said the Irish Star, "Le Cheat" added the Irish Mirror, while the Irish Sun splashed with the "Hand of the Frog".__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Female Refereeing Team for Masculine Football & Vice-Versa !
TPS Refereeing is a perfect refereeing system which does not give rise to disputes among players neither among refereeing team and the playing teams. However to reinforce discipline on the playfield, I would suggest for masculine football we should involve a female refereeing team for match control and vice-versa.
We should not forget that with TPS refereeing, the referee does not run throughout the playfield unnecessarily. He/she can cover a maximum of only 24% of the playfield and still have full control of the match. The referee shall be a real judge "sitting" there to execute orders and not act as investigator running here and there, obstructing players and the play.
Who is right and who is wrong ? Anyway with TPS refereeing such awful incident will not take place and we can very well imagine if the referee was a female figure . . Such scene would never occur ! The scene would have been totally different and cool !!!!
Referee to perform beyond age 45 Yellow / Red - to the Refereeing Team
COMMISSIONER'S VITAL ROLE
With TPS refereeing the referee shall be able to perform beyond age 45. Physical fitness is of course required but what is more important is instant decision making. TPS allows referee to take the right decision on the spot without too much calculation. In fact without any calculation the right decision is there ! Therefore referee with excellent capacities should be allowed to perform well beyond 45 of age. The emphasis should not be on excellent physical fitness.
The football pitch is divided into sectors and every member of the refereeing team (5 in numbers) shall have specific small area under their respective control and error will not be tolerated. Neither the referee nor his 4 assistants (2 touch-linemen & 2 goal -linemen) can rule the roost in football matches with TPS refereeing.
The Commissioner of the match can easily detect if any member of the refereeing team is favouring or disfavouring any player or team. How ? If for example, he observes that the referee is ruling out either the touch-linemen 's findings or the goal-linemen 's findings without cause and justification then this will confirm that there is a serious problem going on. He shall immediately find out who is misruling and shall take appropriate action accordingly while the match is still in progress. He may stop a match to sanction any member of the refereeing team through either a yellow card or use the red for replacement. What's the use of taking sanction after the match when the final score is unalterable? With TPS refereeing the Commissioner of the match shall have a vital role to play, not after the match but right when the match is in progress.

The press report below deals with the award of a non-valid goal of Geoff Hurst, Mondial 1966. Geoff Hurst admits for the first time (after 35 years) that the goal he scored against Germany on 30th July 1966 was in truth a non-valid goal. Why the assistant referee allowed such a " goal " ? In fact he could not have seen that the ball did cross the goal-line. He was too far to have a clear vision of the ball rebounding outside the line (i.e crossed the goal-line). Clear vision is only up to a maximum of 50 feet. We are here reminded of what says a Great Mystic :
" When you go up you have an overview of everything – a good panorama.
Now (i.e., at ground level) our eyes see only about 40 or 50 feet . " Says a Great Mystic.
Besides apart from distanced blurred vision, there was also the problem of Parallax Error. We can well imagine what would have been the decision of the goal-lineman with TPS ! Completely clear and panoramic view without parallax error !
This clearly demonstrate the failures of cameras.

A clear cut goal (equaliser) of the English well inside denied by the officials in the 1/8 final England v/s Germany on 27/06/2010
What a blunder !! England was eliminated - Final score 4-1
Referee nor his assistant is not responsible. It is all due to parallax error !!!!!
MORE PARALLAX ERRORS : 1966 World Cup Final
England v/s Germany
(a) Brazil vs USA :
Confederations Cup 2009 final between Brazil vs USA [3-2].
Brazil goals by Luis Fabiano (46′, 74′) and Lucio (84′).
And USA goals by Clint Dempsey ( 10′) and Landon Donovan (27′) – Venue: Ellis Park Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa - 28.06.2009.
A clear goal Brazil scored but not granted. The ball did crossed the goal line after rebounding from the cross bar. The assistant referee nor the referee could not detect that it was a goal simply due to parallax error.
1. The match should have ended with Brazil 4 vs 2 USA.
2. What would have happen if Brazil did not score the 3rd goal? The final score would have been Brazil 2 vs 2 USA.
(b) Chelsea vs Everton - FA CUP 2009 :
Match played on 30 May 2009 at Wembley stadium. Chelsea goals by Drogba (21’), Lampard (72’) and Everton goal by Saha (1’)
Chelsea won the 2009 FA by 2-1 but a clear goal not granted to Chelsea. A long distanced shot of 25 meters rebounded from the cross bar and whole of the ball rebounded again behind the goal line meaning a clear goal. Goalkeeper Tim Howard could do nothing. Reason of not granting the goal is simply the assistant referee have been unable to follow the swiftly ball rebounding movement. But the obvious reason is due to parallax error.
(c) England vs Germany - 1966 :
Final World Cup 1966 England vs Germany. The 2nd goal scored by Geoff Hurst during the extra time should not have allowed and the scorer himself now admits it. The Russian touch lineman could never have detected that the ball in fact has crossed or not crossed the goal line for obvious reasons – DISTANCE & PARALLAX and we are reminded here what a Great Mystic says:
“ When you go up you have an overview of everything – a good panorama.
Now (i.e., at ground level) our eyes see only about 40 or 50 feet.”
Another Great Mystic says :
" When you go to the top of a hill, your vision becomes vast ;
When you are at the bottom, you just see some little portion."
In the above quotations we are also informed though in an indirect way about Parallax Error...... Vision becomes vast !!!
